Getting ready for the iReady diagnostics September 21-October 2nd
Hello Edison families,
In the next couple of weeks, September 21-October 2, your child will participate in the iReady Math and ELA diagnostics.
Administering the diagnostics will be different this year, but what remains the same is why we give the diagnostic and how we use the data we collect from this assessment. Due to the fact we have limited face to face time with our students at this time, the diagnostic will be taken by students during times when they are not in a synchronous session. You will however, need to spend some time discussing and preparing your students for the diagnostics during your live to support our students performing their best.
Dates: The diagnostic windows have been set so that students complete will be expected to complete their diagnostics during their asynchronous learning time on the following weeks:
Math - September 21-25
Reading - September 28-Oct. 2
We will give your student a specific schedule for days to test and how much time to spend working through the diagnostic, each day.
